Bridging the world with art in a spirit of peace, commonalities before differences…

Freedom in Creation (FIC) is excited to continue our Global Village Education collaboration with Hathaway Brown School (HB), Shaker Heights, OH. After lectures and a FIC art exhibition the HB girls created banners to “join hands with” young FIC artists in Uganda. Thereafter the HB girls voted and awarded FIC with their $3,000 GROW Grant for community service and education. The proceeds enabled a well to be rehabilitated at a northern Uganda primary school. Access to water will increase community health and education and reduce gender violence for girls tasked to walk long distances to collect water.

Broken well, now fixed
